Recipe: Crémant A La Poire

The Crémant A La Poire cocktail is fabulously French and has two of my favorite ingredients, crémant and Lillet. If ever there was a sexy drink to conjure up during the holidays it is this one. Filled with aphrodisiacs, this cocktail will get all of your senses going and flowing in all the right places. Put this one in your arensal to bewitch your senses.

Crémant A La Poire

Ingredients:

4 bar spoons of pear puree
1/2 ounce simple syrup
3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc
2 ounces Silver Tequila
splash of crémant
A pear slice

Conjure:

  1. Place the pear puree, simple sugar, Lillet Blanc and Tequila in a shaker filled with ice, and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
  2. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and then top with the crémant. Garnish with a thin slice of pear.

Review of Bailly-Lapierre Crémant de Bourgogne Réserve Brut

If you have champagne dreams, but are on a budget, crémant is a wonderful choice. Think of it as champagne's little sister.  The wine is made in France so it has a touch of  "oh la la" just like champagne. In my lastest review, I get all up close and personal with a bottle Bailly-Lapierre Crémant de Bourgogne Réserve Brut. It is so good it will give you a winegasm! Check out my review below. If you try it let me know what you think. Santé!
